The visuals are really great. Perfect decor, colour-choice, lighting etc. New and fresh. But when the basic soundproofing of the windows has not been considered, all is lost. The noice from the street is among the worst I have experienced, which is funny since this is not that big a city. Seriously, I checked the balcony-door, and there is a gap indicating subpar quality in the construction. I don't know if it is equally bad, or worse, but the receptionist was very obviously ill. With Covid, it seemed. It truly is deplorable to have a sick receptionist coughing all the time, infecting all guests. Yes, she wore a mask, but she wore it incorrectly and when no one was there, she took it off and coughed away in the reception (I use stairs so I could notice this). So the virus was plentiful there in the very small lobby. Truly amazing. Now I am tripple vaccinated and recently had Covid so I won't get sick. But other guests may not be in this position. Also, I think it is against Spanish law to come to work sick during the pandemic (inconsiderate outside of a pandemic, also). That the restaurant, the bar, and everything is closed, including the jacuzzi, makes this hotel rather uninteresting. The co-working spaces don't even have real chairs (just som bar stool kind of things), except on the roof, where those who want real chairs have to share one aquarium-like room if the want to sit correctly and work. They build heavily on sustainability. I don't believe this hotel to be more sustainable than many others. For one thing, they've added lights and technology here and there. Come on, how can it be sustainable to have electrical curtain drawers! Amazing. Forget this place and choose another one. Plenty of offers in this pice-range. I'm happy I've learned not to book a whole week without testing first. Now I'm stuck here three nights only before I can happily move on to another hotel. (I'm staying on the island a longer time.) One thing, the Wi-Fi is horrible to get right. Something is wrong here. Strange, considering they make a thing about being here for distance workers … I try to be fair in all my reviews. I think I've been so here also, although I note some others have given this hotel higher marks. I travel a lot so perhaps I note different things, like sleep-quality and consideration on part of the staff.
